Hi. I too am stuck on the Feakins. I have a Robert Feakins b c1863 m Elizabeth Edwards. Robert was born in Australia but parents George Feakins and Ann Hart were born here, George-Ramsgate and Ann Wanstead.
My grandfather is a Parker who married a Bodman where the Feakins side comes from.

Do you think we have the same Feakins?

Hi Beverley
This is an old thread and I doubt the people will still be checking.
You could try clicking on the name and sending a message, just in case they are still with Genes. In the meantime I have found a snippet of information in a newspaper. Hope it helps with your search....

Births, Deaths, Marriages and Obituaries .
The Standard (London, England), Thursday, April 21, 1842;

Marriage
April 19th at Trinity Church, Trinity Square, Captain Clinch to Miss Maria Feakins, 2nd daughter of Mrs Feakins of Sheerness, Kent.

Bev, try putting the names you are researching into the Search Trees box above to see if anyone else on this site has them in their tree. If you find a connection, you can contact the tree owner.

If you would like help with your research, then why not start a thread of your own? Take a look at the Help Clinic - above left - for further info. Cx

I am also trying to find part of the Feakins line but there are so many branches they lead you all over the place more so as many have the same names and have very close birth dates, wich is a nightmare at times.

Hello Kenneth,

If you read the posts above yours, you will see that this is an old thread.

May I suggest that you start by putting the names you are researching into the Search Trees box above to see if anyone on this site has them in their tree. If you find a connection, you can contact the tree owner.

If you would like some help with your research, then I would advice you start a thread of your own. Take a look at the first message on the Find Ancestors board and also the Help Clinic - above left - for more advice. Regards. Cx
