we're in a waiting pattern ........ only days left methinks, and not much that anyone can do except keep her comfortable until the end. Most of her family are still in the UK

I should mention that of course I begged him not to go, but evidently to no avail.

He'll still be able to send and receive PMs through the GR system though, should anyone wish to, er, pester him. ;)

i took note of evies post in sherwood forest and also asked eric to say farewell but heard nothing more,doesnt feel the same without his short but simple replies[a lot of the time] somehow

Sheesh, I made the announcement a few days in Sherwood Forest.

Ericthered has departed these parts.

His membership expired a few days ago, and he didn't renew. I invited him to the forest for a swan song, but he may already have been expired.

He sent well wishes in our work. To me, anyhow. ;)

I had noticed but I just thought I hadn't looked at the same threads but that it was unusual. His name usually pops up frequently with his excellent advice.
