Springtime have you found details of Theodore somewhere? just a cursory glance at census and can't find him yet in St Pancras.. is that his birth place or residence at some point do you know? (have also looked at freebmd to try and confirm birth with no luck...

no i have not found him any where i think he came from belguim

is Alice grey connected to him? spouse?

right on the full brith cert of my grandfather theodore is a theodore ellis alice ellis formly grey so my grandfather victor ellis born 24 dec 1906 was the son but on the short cert victor is victor ellis kuhl we all wat though that it was a theodore kuhl but now not so sure

also the next child they had was charles ellis alice seen to change her name from esther alice maria ellis to hesther alice eliis and on her death cert it is alice esther kuhl i do know that theodre married her sister dorothy eliis in 1913 but cant find the marriage of theodre and alice anyehere

Am trying to find John Gorst (sometimes shown as Goose) on the 1851 census. All I know is he was born around 1849 in Halton/Warton ? Lancashire. Have no idea who parents / siblings would have been I'm afraid. If you could have a quick look I'd be very grateful.

yes i do have the marriage cert of theodore and dorothy also both there death cert and the cert of there children doris and maurice

Hi Rambling,

Can you find William John Upcott with his wife Elizabeth on the '41 & '51 census.
William was born in Lympstone in 1818 but I do not know the birthplace of Elizabeth.

They were married in Westminster in 1840 and a first child, Louisa was born in St Pancras in c 1843.
