hello can anybody plzz help i am at a dead end again i got my gg grandfathers birth cert threw today hopeing for a fathers name and there is no father mentioned on it neither does his wed cert it has his mothers name on as maryann pike i have no info on her and would like to know which way i should turn now
james was born dec 1857 in kingslynm middle norfolk the address on the birth cert is smiths court,baker lane,kingslynn

If there isn't a father's name it means he was illigitimate i'm afraid there is no way of finding his father.

I have looked at that address in 1851 and 61 census' and there's no sign of Mary Pike.

thanks samsspade and june i have james on census but i did not know his parents names i have been looking all day and i can not seem to fine maryann i now that they where from the norfolk area as that is where james is reg i have his census records as far as i could go to now he was the right james i will look into the census you have gave but i have nothing apart from james cert to say who mary is
