can i just ask where you have got this info from ?? I have other family members who where married to a carbury but different maiden names

Well at least im kinda getting somewhere now, i appreciate all your help as im not too good at finding people and as i dont have alot of info to go on this is pretty difficult, my dad has told me his dad was born in camlachie, glasgow and lived there a while, its just trying to find other relatives which is the problem.
I am however going to try and get some info from the cencus and hope maybe that will help me out.

This is looking good,
Just spoke to my dad, he has my grandads marrige certificate it very worn and he can just make out certain bits but it does say that my great grandad (David Carbury) occupation was a house painter he was married to Isabella and there address was 65 glenpark street, Dennistoun, Glasgow.

Hi Rootgatherer,
My Great grandads name was David Carbury and he was married to Isabella, not sure of the year, my dad did not really meet any of his dads (william) side of the family so i am trying to trace as many as i can for him and for me as i have never met or known any other carbury other than my dad.

I am trying to find family members with the surname carbury.
My grandad was william carbury born 1913 in glasgow he married Ivy Kathleen helme from yorkshire and they had a son Bryan (my dad). I know most of his relative are from glasgow but i dont have much info to go by.
If anyone can help me please do.
