yes Joan I think the old ones are and I think the British Library holds them too. I mentioned that current ones are not held locally. |

Darkie, I can do an upto date elec register look up if you PM me their names. Due to a change in European Law, E/R's are no longer (or should not be) held at local libraries, old ones might be but current ones are not, or shouldnt be. |

just because it might be a bit of a shock? you know them better than me of course and I'm sure you will know what is best - if you think best to ring, then go with your instinct and with regard to starting the conversation, I wouldn;t worry about that one bit - all you have to say is "Hi, I'm ?????" and the rest will come naturally!!! |
