Dear Ann and Linda,
I am astounded! Thank you so so much for taking the time to find out all this information for me - it's absolutely brilliant!
I will sit down now and put this information into my family tree - I am hoping I can fit this family into the Darter family who seemed to have lived in East and West Ilsley and Lockinge at about this time. I seem to think that somewhere, I discovered that James Darter was born in Ilsley and this I think would be good enough evidence to link him into the family - somehow! - but I have lost my source and can't remember where I got it from.
But I am so very grateful for all your help. THANKYOU.

Does anyone have a copy of Sutton Courtnay OPR's? I am trying to trace a family of the 'Darter' family and think that this is the place that the parents - James Darter and Esther Stubbs/Tubbs were married and offspring born. I have the information from IGI but wondered if anyone could check it out and confirm the information for me please?
