I am still trying to find children of Norman Eric & Marjorie Hilda (married name Clarke) they would be my first cousins and have not had any luck. Can anyone outthere help. Marj

Marjmay, I saw your thread on Chat -- it really is customary to thank people who have at least attempted to help with a query.

(Maybe you did that by private message, but it's important to add to the thread so everyone knows what info in it is useful.)



Uzzi - please please please -- people born in 40 and 44 are very probably living, and their personal details should not be posted here. Would you delete those records? They can so easily be sent by PM, with a note in the thread along the lines of "two births in 1940s sent by PM". Anyone else who needs to know the details in order to help further can then easily find the births.

I have thanked the people personally who have given me information as I am new at this thread business have not yet got used to the protocol expected I am sure I will dol the right thing eventually and the moment please accept my ignorance and have patience.

Thanks for all your info. which I have printed out so I can sort things out and yes I think the marriage is the correct one as it fits with some of my own records. I have obtained my grandparents marriage cert. but my Aunt and Uncle have always been unknown to me but at least have got some more avenues to chase up. Thanks again Marj

I dont think that Kathleen is Joseph and Maria,s daughter I only every knew of my dad having a brother Norman and sister Marjorie,but its something I could follow up. Thanks

There's only one Frederic A Abbott birth 1880-1920, and it's that one.

There's only one Frederic A Abbott marriage:

which is somewhat interesting as there are two Norman E Abbott marriages that look possible, and one of them is in Doncaster.

The Frederick A Abbott & Georgina Barratt m.1931 is correct (my parents) and I am sure the Norman E Abbott marriage Doncaster is correct his wifes name was Almena Conclough have now confirmed this so am getting somewhere. Thanks
