Moody Blue,This is a great possibility but I have no way of checking, all the information I have I have included,My Grandad also had a brother william and a sister Sarah Louise. William was known as Bill and Sarah was known as Pence both lived in Llandrindod Wells in the 1960s when I was a lad.

Is it possible that this is who you are looking for? Not in Wales but in Notts...........as Gladys Daynes was born Notts maybe married there?

Is your grandad on the 1911 census?

is the surname Francis?

My grandfather had a brother "Bert" possible Albert or Herbert with a wife called Gladys and a daughter Doreen,Doreen was in Nursing and Bert and Gladys owned newsagents in Brighton in the 1950/60s.
Bert born Mid-Wales early 1900s Gladys possibly the same.Doreen born 1930ish.
Berts father William Francis (1879-1955),his mother Mary Bufton (b 1877),William was a policeman living in Rhayader on the 1901 census.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
