Hi, i am still trying to find the date of death for Albert Victor Brindley born in 1898/9 in Smallthorne staffordshire Albert was the son of Walter Brindley 1875 b Burslem. Albert married Mary Ann Boulton at St Margarets in Wolstanton in 1921 had two children Kathleen 1924 and Walter 1926 which have also passed away.Albert died between 1940 and 1953, i have been on Ancestry and could not find at all Please could a kind soul please help me to find this, Thanks as always Aidan. |

Hi, sorry i missed a date, Albert died between 1940 and 1953, i have been on Ancestry and could not find at all, i have been searching for months. |

My Gt uncle , Alberts son told me years ago that his father Albert died young from he thinks Pneumonia, my Gt Grandmother was happily married to Albert he was the love of her life, i think my GT Grandmothers second husband Thomas k was divorced, so you could have something in that... |

You need an address to search electoral lists, ..or patience to search if you just have a very good idea of the area. |

Hi alan and thanks, he was born in 1898 in Smallthorne staffordshire, he lived at 11 market street in smallthorne in 1901. My mom seems to remember a house on Pleasant street in Burslem/Tunstall in the forties she used to go to, although she is unsure. |

And just for future ref, what you may not have twigged to yet is that the death Linda found has not been transcribed so no automated search will find it. She had to download and read the images for each year until she found it. |

Janeycanuck, thank you for your further insight into the world of Genes reunited, like i said i am newish to this and no i had not Twigged as you put it. My apologies for my multiple threads, this one and another, you have now explained how to add to the existing thread for as you put future reference so again thank you for your expertise which is so precious to us newbies. |
