Re: 1881 census - hoping some kind person can help me find Mary Jane Burrows (born October 1873 at Colebrooke, Devon) on the 1881 census.
Mary Jane was the daughter of John and Sarah (nee Westaway) .
Burrows.
I have located Mary Jane on the 1891 census (servant at Littleham, Exmouth) and 1901 census returns but am unable to find her in 1881.
I'd appreciate any help ...

John was born in 1833 and died in 1875.
Sarah was living at Down St. Mary, Devon with her older son (born 1871)

So really you are looking for Mary Jane possiby with a grand parent or other relative as you have found mother
