Hi Rose, Yes, I know- abt. that. But in some census, she is Ellen, and in some Ethel, so as usual confusing. Thanks, anyway. |

Thank you to everybody. I tried the usual of looking for Ellen Ethel/Ethel Ellen with the names of spouses from marriages , and found no one. So, wondered about this marriage with only one name!, Hence, my query. Will try 1911 with the name supplied by Dea. Hope it works. |

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I must be blind. I checked this Robbins and came up with zilch. This gives me hope of finding more -and some relatives of my g.grandmother, who came to Aust. in 1884 and never spoke of her family in UK. |

SorryEveryone. I jumped in too soon. This is not my Ethel Jago. This one was definitely born in Devon, and married in Devon. So, it's back to square one. I will look again at that Gurnsey in 1911. |

Sorry June, you are right - Such a shame as it was looking SSSooo good but I have traced the Ethel (Robbins) from 1911 to the 1901 and I have also found 'your' Ethel on 1901 (as Ellen!). |

I don't know Quinsgran, I only looked at the transcription as it costs 3 times as much to view the image which would, I believe, tell you this. |
