Parents of Richard Cresswell/Georgiana Mee

Sheila Report 13 Sep 2009 10:01

My great great grandfather Richard Cresswell (1806c) of Denby, Derbshire married Georgiana Mee (1811c) of Loscoe, Derbyshire at Denby Church on 25/12/1826. Georgiana had a sister Elizabeth who lived with them and never married. I cannot trace any parents of either Richard of Georgiana (also spelt Georghaner and Georgeana). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is nothing on IGI only Richard and Georgiana as man and wife and they are all submitted records.

Elizabeth was deaf and dumb, did you notice that on the census?

To Mel Fairy Godmother and Paula W.

I hope that I thanked you both for all the information that you gave me in 2009 regarding my great grandparents Richard Cresswell and Georgiana Mee. If I didn't thank you then please accept my apologies as the information that you gave me was very useful. If I did thank you at the time, then saying thank you a second time worn't hurt me.

Kindest regards,
Sheila
