Von
I was interested to know that your family was from Newport too, made me think that we have been in touch before directly, and shared our trees through GR?.
Regards Michael

Sorry, but I'm not "upset". I am considerably annoyed.

I asked whether you had searched the UNTRANSCRIBED records, not the transcribed indexes. If there is no entry so far transcribed, then the quarter-by-quarter search of the untranscribed records has to be done.

(I'm not familiar with FMP's indexes, but as I understand it there is not yet a searchable full index anywhere for the period.)

You apology should not be for "upsetting" anyone, it should be for wasting people's time by violating board rules.

Hi JaneyCanuck
I am sorry if I have upset you or anybody else, but I am new to this and it seems I have more to learn, I did not realsize that I had to add my request to the earlier thread, after all I only asked for the death records
I will bear this in mind in future.
.
Yes I have searched the death records on findmypast and free BMD from 1939 when I have last record of him alive until 1980, I DO NOT EXPECT someone else to do it for me, I was just asking for a bit of help..

Sorry Alice in Wonderland I should have mentioned that Kerrdona was in fact a man.

Michael, really, how dare you?

All of the info in an existing thread, and you waste our time like this by not even offering the bare facts here.

Have you searched the untranscribed death indexes for the period when this person likely died? No? Are you expecting someone to do this for you?

There are rules at this board, and if you bothered to read them, or even browse a few other threads here, you would know that multiple threads about the same thing violate those rules. And really, really annoy the people you are asking to help you.

Much of the earlier information is on this thread

Michael you should have added this request to your original thread then people won't duplicate information. That just wastes everyone's time.

Hi Glitter Baby
Yes I went through from 1939 which was the last record I have of him alive right through to 1980 and there was no record of his death.

Good old Ancestry. 1901:

Name: Kendona M Vaughan
Age in 1901: 9
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1892
Relation: Son
Father's Name: Benjamin
Mother's Name: Maria A
Where born: Nevern, Pembrokeshire, Wales
Civil parish: Newport

Another reason why full info helps with searches -- with parents' names, for instance, that would have been a snap to find.

So many great minds.

Michael, can you show us this person in the 1901 or 1911? Not seeing.

Ah, SomersetGirl edited. Yes, that was what I figured, and why I wanted to see a census - the sex!
