Pretty sure I have him in the army for 1916.

5ft 6ins tall private

Discharged 1917 medically unfit due to Bronchitis
He was a weaver before the army it states

Wife Elizabeth living in 1917 at 3 Plantation st Accrington.Sue

I can't find him in the 1891 census but by the 1901 census he would be old enough to be in the army. Perhaps he was abroad in the Boer War? Just a suggestion.

In 1901 as Fredk Pemberton , 25 b Accrington, Cotton Weaver, he is a boarder in Burnley with John and Hannah Hodgkinson

He's actually living in Accrington and in the household of John and Margaret Pemberton.

Kath yes thats the one! as Aaron was my Grandad Freds grandparents being John and Margaret. But still cant see him on the 1901 Census. Thanks very much for looking Anne.

Hi I am struggling to find Frederick G Pemberton he appeared once on the census 1881 as Grandson aged 5 within the household of Aaron \Pemberton 3 Henry st. Oswaldtwistle Lancs. Perhaps he died young cant find him again any help? Thankyou Anne.
