I am trying to find Frank Ware, who was born approx 1872. On the 1901census(he appears twice, once on board a paddle steamer, the other at home) his birth place is Brompton on one, and Brampton Medway on the other.
Family history says the family comes from near Watchet in Somerset.
He was 'married' (no record of marriage) to Kate Sidney and they had three children Frank, William(my g father) and Dorothy. They were living in Portsmouth in 1901.
He died in 1909 and Kate registered the death.
I cant find anything out about his birth, or family or nothing!!
Anyone out there give me any ideas?

Hi everyone, thank you so much for your replies. I did see lots of these, on my search, but cant prove that any of them are my Frank. I was hoping someone may have the same Frank, and I could link everything up! (that would be too easy!)
Kate and Frank never seemed to marry, which is a pain, and I cant quite link up with the Branchflowers either. There is a Brampton, Medway, in kent, but thats also a bit of a dead end. The Brompton Ralph is probably a fair bet, as my family are allegedly from Watchet.
Its proving it thats a pest, because I cant seem to link him up.
The Sydneys are quite easy to trace cos theres loads of em!
I'm going to persevere with their eldest son Frank Sydney Ware and see if anything comes up there.

Watchet is in Somerset, near Williton.
My Grandmother's maiden name was Ware. She grew up with her grandparents Edwin and Emma in Stogumber.
The family has also lived in Sampford Peverell on the Somerset Devon border and many people are registered at Tiverton, Devon I think.
