Finding Ralph White's spouse

Hi all,
I have found what I think is the marriage entry ref for an ancestor on freebmd.
He was Ralph White, married Prescot Sep 1855 vol 8b p 840.
I think his wifes name was Ellen, but the index search does not give any female names when I click on it.
Does anyone have any tips as to how to find this entry elsewhere?

Thanks Janet,
have tried inputting this, but no result.
If I simply input GRO ref just get Ralphs details back.

Anyone know of other sites I can look up GRO refs on?

It's 840 & not 140

Just a little correction, I believe the page number is 840 not 140.

Thanks all typo with the numbers!
I think the William White given as lodger in 1861 is his father. His mother was Jane - looking for that marriage too if anyone can help xxx

I think its this one mistranscribed on FreeBMD the actual image has a 9 with a tail above the 0 and the transcriber has interpreted the zero as a 6

there are two men and three woman on the listing so one of them was wrong !
