Hey Guys,
I was wondering if someone could help me find ROBERT WALDRON?
He appears as Elizabeth Waldron's father in the 1841 census in Eldersfield with wife Elizabeth and other children.
I found a record also on GENUKI for Robert and Elizabeth's marriage in Forthampton in Worcs on 7th Aug 1828, which wasnt far away.
Is anyone able to find any info on Robert? I shall be purchasing various certs soon to find out more info

Thanks :-)

If this record is correct, they couldnt have got married the date you gave as she would have been too young

In the 1941 census it was recorded that Elizabeth was 10 years younger but I think the age gap was slightly smaller. She was however underage when they got married but had consent from her parents. I think Robert was born approx 1806 and Elizabeth 1811.
I
m 99% certain this is the right family. I managed to find them from Grandson Edwins birth Certificate. His mother was Elizabeth (betsy), Robert & Elizabeths daughter. Edwin was born in 1861 just after the census was taken. At this time Robert had died and wife Elizabeth had remarried. They we're living at corse lawn, eldersfield. Which matches the address on b.cert. I managed to find previous censuses finding Elizabeth and children, which I then came across Robert Waldron as the father.
