Jan, can't find the marriage on Ancestry. In my experience it tends to show exactly the same info as the marriage cert, the marriage cert being a copy of the info in the parish records anyway. More useful for baptisms, I'm having a look for you now to see if I can find any possible children for them. Helen |

Thanks Helen! Before you go to the trouble though need to tell you they did move to Birmingham at some point. If you are happy to look I can see which ones were born in |London. |

Just to push my luck ... I don't suppose anyone would please be kind enough to look for a baptism for Elizabeth Chesterman? She was born about 1822, in London - on one census it is recorded as Kingsland. Her father was Thomas. |

Much as I hate to put personal hygiene before family tree research, there does come a time when the family complain, so off for a bath! So not being rude if there are any replies!! |

I think out of the 2 that Helen has found the one in 1821 looks the best bet as the abode on the image is given as 'Kingsland' |

On the same image as the 1821 baptism there is another Chesterman baptism on 8 April 1821 |

You asked if it was worth looking at the PR image if you already have the certificate. |

What I like about the parish records on Ancestry is that on the marriage certs you get to see their signatures - and the signatures of witness who are quite often family. That's lovely. |
