WHERE IS EVERYBODY SEARCHING TO GET THE 1911 CENSUS RECORDS. I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND A SITE WITH THE WHOLE 1911 CENSUS ON.

You will probably find them one day but they are well hidden for now.


Just seen previous post and I did see some with Platts. Back in a mo.

Clara was nee Platts and her parents were next door to them in 1881.
Benjamin Platts 1830 born Scholes and Louisa.

I can't find them either in 1891 tried every conotation with the Quinn;s but no joy.

Hi Denise,

A quick search on Ancestry reveals that there's a member with the same Quinn family in their tree. They don't have the 1891 census, either.

I've had this problem myself a couple of times:- one explanation was that the surname had been mistranscribed into something completely unrecognisable (I was looking for 'Weedon' and the transcript said 'Thurdon').

The other explanation was that the census piece for that particular district or sub-district for 1891 has not survived or is otherwise unavailable.

i have lost an entire family. i have them in 1881 census then in 1891 they are no where to be found, can anyone help. this is what i found in 1881 the whole family was living in brinsworth rotherham south yorkshire, John quinn Head - tinner-born rotherham
Clara quinn - wife-born stubbin
morris quinn - son aged 1 born rotherham
fanny quinn - daug- aged 0 born rotherham

florence eve daughter was born in 1882 in rotherham
i have searched the 1891 census and cannot firnd them but i can locate florence eva in rotherham in 1901
also fanny in 1901 and morris in 1901 but cannot locate parents but dearly welcome answers to where they could have been in 1891. if anyone has any queries in rotherham if i cna help i gladly will
