Hi, I too have a mormon link and found out lots of info on, www.familysearch.org.
I have looked up Betsy Howard and have this info.
Betsy Prudence Howard born 22 July 1835 Bedford England
Died 12 June 1893 Coalville, Summit, Utah
Married JOSEPH (THOMAS) BULLOCK b.23 Dec 1816 Married 9 Dec 1852 Salt Lake city Utah. He died 10 Feb 1885
It also lists their 8 children names and dob.

Also Lucy Clayton.

Lucy Caroline Clayton b 21 March 1820 Lancashire England.
Died 16 April Cottonwood Salt Lake, Utah
Married JOSEPH (THOMAS) BULLOCK 23 Jan 1843 Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois.
They had 6 children.

I find these records great as they also gove you the names of parents etc.

Hope this is of help,

Regards Sylvia

This is the only interesting bit, apart from a distant ancestor being transported to Australia for stealing a sheep!!

Linda in the Midlands Report 28 Dec 2009 23:35

Thanks again, I'm not sure I can view them either. Have so many problems as most of the LDS site claim them as rellies, they are pages of pedigrees on there

can't locate him and henrietta on 1841 census

GlitterBaby Report 28 Dec 2009 23:32

There is an entry in 1850 USA census for Thomas Bullock born about 1817 in Utah

Sorry not got the right sub on Ancestry to view the record

Some one has added a name change to four entries on 1850 census from Bulloch to Bullock

Henrietta 1817
Thomas H 1839
Pamela 1842

I am unfortunate enough to be related to a mormon pioneer! Rumour and half the trees on ancestry have him as married to 3 women with 27 children. He emigrated to Utah (unsure when)

I'm looking for proof of the marriages (the LDS site has so many entries after 1991)

Thomas was born c 1816 in Leek Staffordshire, first wife Henrietta Rushton, 2nd wife Lucy Clayton 3rd wife Betsy Howard. if anyone can find any records I would be very grateful
