There's a Marion Beatrice Rolfe who died in British Columbia 26 Dec. 1968, White Rock, age 87, making her born 1881.

I'm having a bit of a problem with Fred's year of immigration. I know it says 1896,but I don't believe it.

He's the one from Waddesdon isn't he??? Did he and Beatrice marry in the UK?

I'm having the same problem, Maureen, I can't find him anywhere in Canada on the 1901 census.

The 1911 Canadian census also has a Charles Rolfe in Qu'Appelle, SK. ( brother of Fred?)
Charles is 22, born Apr.1889, England and emigrated 1911.

There's also a Willim Rolfe, same place, age 32, born May 1879, England and emigrated 1905.

Both going home to Glenavon Sask. Looks as though they were in the UK for 2 months. Relative is listed as father Charles Rolfe Waddesdon.

Under the "If in Canada before" column it reads 1906-1925.

Arthur was the only one I looked at. He enlisted 8/7/1915 in Regina SK

Beatrice & Frederick as far as I know married in Canada, I have found her immigration record for 1909 and it says she was going out to Canada to marry (her maiden name was Blomfield) I can't find any marriage record for them in the UK.

I have a copy of the Registration of Death for Beatrice, her date of birth was given as Feb 29th 1880 and she had been in Canada for 60 years

On the death registration for Fredrick in 1963 also in British Columbia it gives his date of birth as June 6th 1885 , place of birth Buckinghamshire, England, and that at time of death he had been in Canada for 55 years

hi Maureen, thanks for that immigration information I have Fred on the English 1901 census where he is shown as a Bricklayers Labourer so I am almost certain the F Rolfe you have found is him
