Looks to be travelling with sister(?) Alice, aged 6, and an adult named Margaret (difficult to read surname, but not sure that its Mechan - looks to being with the letter 'K')

It looks as though Ella settled in Canada as I can find no record of her in England

have not found Maud, the other daughter, travelling to Canada.

Did she stay with her mother I wonder.

Not sure what happened to Maud......although have just been on the phone to someone who " remembers " the name but had no idea who she was or what happened to her, she did however think she had a child....stories do get muddled in the years of telling, dont they!!

Off to follow that one up now....

I am ,him in doors aint,tried chopping his hand off with a machete when supposed to be chopping wood,tendons had to be stitched etc,plastered for 6 wks,2 weeks left .
