My uncle George Alfred Cutts was in the army in ww2 ,he was a prisoner of war in Siam could any records of this be found? d.o.b. 14 4 1914 mother Ada 1894 dad George 1892 from Doncaster yorkshire,Carol

He's not showing in the WW2 POW database on Ancestry. I'm not sure if it's a complete database though.

I think the Ancestry database is just the German POW info.

You could obtain his service records, these records are not online nor in the public domain they are still held by the MOD, and are only available to NOK or have permission from them.


Here is the link to the Veterans agency which explains how and who can apply for them

They can cost £30-00 and take sometime to get them, for widows it is free
