hi
my great grandma married a john boddy in 1902, and on the marraige cert she and her dad peter said their name was conley. so why on the cencus records they said there name was conley. any ideas. all certs have the name lavey, lahey!!! they lived in middlesbrough and sunderland. but in the 1871 cencus they said their name was levey. this is confusing me. is there any way i can find out why they used 2 names?
and secondly mary conley 1878 had a boy called francis boddy (my grandad) 1900 and a girl mary boddy 1900 so they were twins but there is no record of their birth or that they live with her in the 1901 cencus, but appear in the 1911 cencus.
some one please help
