If you want to buy that m.cert, see:
http://www.groireland.ie/

Note that, like Scotland, you can buy an uncertified copy of the register entry at a reduced price (6 euros here, I think).

Also correcting Amokavid - the IGI says the BRIDE'S father is JAMES - it says the groom's father is ROBERT JAMISON

"Browse our record collection" at:
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#
gets the GRO(I) index, as well as some Oz stuff

Name: Margaret Barkley
Registration district: Ballymena
Record type: MARRIAGES
Registration date - quarter and year: 1849
Estimated birth year:
Age:
Mother's surnames:
Film number: 101242
Volume: 2
Page: 57
Digital GS number: 4195888
Image number: 00269
Collection: Ireland, Civil Registration Indexes 1845-1958

There's a record for Samuel Jamison with the same details (except for image #=383/384 - looks like they took 2 pics of it).

Had to reword this I left out the most important fact...lol..I would appreciate any advice on how to find the parents of Samuel Jamieson born around 1830. I think he is probably a brother or cousin of my ggg grandfather Lachlan Jamieson. They are both born in Ireland and are neighbors in Port Glasgow Scotland. Many of their children's and grandchildren's names are the same. Through Scotland's People I can see that Lachlan's parents are Alexander and Bridget Jamieson. Samuel is in the 1871 Scotish census and he and his family show up in England in 1881 Does England have anything like Scotland's People, that would enable me to see Samuel's parents names. Thanks for any suggestions.

I did try to find his birth in Ireland, and I also know that he married Margaret Barclay in Ireland in March of 1850, but couldn't find this record. I am assuming he died in England and since I didn't have luck with the Irish records was trying to find out if the records of deaths in England list the deceased parents names.
Thanks for your help.

Why are you asking abt England - don't you need Irish records, eh?
