i have been trying for quite a while now to find out about the clowes family got some info from some kind people but how do i go about searching for any living relations as i dont know any .only one and she couldnt tell me much i know my late father had 2 brothers thomas and george and one sister annie which are all deceased and his mother elsie rhodes had quite a few bros and sisters my fathers name was john vernon clowes this was passed down so i lead to beleive they all came from the stoke on trent area but some moved up to sheffield were the work was i have been in contact with a gentleman g rhodes who says i am related to him he didnt say how said i have lots of relatives sent me his tree but all the living ones are hidden i went down to |
