Please contact me urgently, I think we are looking for the same man! The only death I can find for the timescale is a 21 year old Thomas Marr in Liverpool. I having been searching for information for a long time now.

PLEASE HELP! I have tried in vain for nearly two years to find this man - Thomas Marr (Tommy). He came from Easington, Co Durham but died in a motorcylce accident in 1966/7. This is the only record I can find (remotely near)br>

I am trying to trace a death of a Thomas (Tommy) Marr from Easington, Co Durham in either 1966 or 1967. I am told that he died in a motorcycle accident but I cannot find any record of this anywhere. He will of only been late teens or early twenties.

As you can see though it states Liverpool??? If anyone can find a birth on this man, a marriage or children maybe. Or even info on his parents and siblings you have no idea how happy and relieved I will be. Thank you in advance.

Have you tried looking at newspapers of the time for funeral notice? They can give you much information. The local library (Easington) should have them. He may have died elsewhere but funeral service in Easington.

The only Marr to die in that time frame aged in his 20s was Robert L. at Greenwich.

there is no Thomas Marr on Ancestry with death 1965 +/- 5 years who is anywhere near in his 20s, youngest in 50s

are you sure about name, spelling, date of death etc etc, remember that memories can play tricks and things that happen in the past can seem more recent to us than they actually are

this is the only Marr in Co. Durham, but only 10 not 20s
