I'm here again .. I've discovered Thomas Henry Mason married Mary Ellen Dickenson, but cant see how Mary ellen fits in with Maud, could someone please look up
Mary Ellen Dickenson b1891 (ish) in Warrington in the 1911 Census and tell me who else was in the household

Hi thanks to Jan i think i might have found William Mason now married to Rose (nee Belton) they had a son William in 1911 could someone please check them out in the 1911 census to see if they are there? I would really like to know where William was born its possible Rose was born in 1889.....

Hi registration is in quarters so nov birth would be registered in Dec quarter BUT if no one did it before the end of Dec then it would be in the Mar(Jan-Mar)Quarter of the next year. A birth index of that time should also show the mothers maiden name. I am not sure of info on this site as i use Ancestry. Happy to look for you,if you don't want to put name on here then click on my name and send me it in the message box

The other thing i wanted to ask is are all births and deaths recorded on this site? between the years stated as i cant find my mothers birth in Nov 1936 and it appears the 3 months of births for that period is missing?

I think that is more than likely his death, I am new to this searching and I dont really understand the relivance of the volumes is that just to enable me to get a death certificate and if i did this what further info would i gain? I know he definatly died in the first 6 months of 1960 but was buried in Warrington would this still mean that his death could of been registered in Birkenhead ?

Thanks for the quick response Its a little more complicated than that Jan, My mother was born illigitimately William Mason being her biological father but Rose was married someone else and my mother was given the family name!

All complicated stuff, all we have to go on really is that he died in 1960 and was about 62-64 when he died and i do have some of his childrens names but they would have been born after the 1911 census, he also had links to liverpool

Could i be really cheeky and ask you to look me up 1 more in the 1911 census? If i get this info i can start work on my Mums tree she was orphaned at 3 and we think we might have found her parents.. you looked up Maud Rose yesterday ( My Grandma) I wondered if you would look up William Mason Born 1896 and residing in Warrington at the time of the 1911 Census ... It would be greatly appreciated
