Hi registration is in quarters so nov birth would be registered in Dec quarter BUT if no one did it before the end of Dec then it would be in the Mar(Jan-Mar)Quarter of the next year. A birth index of that time should also show the mothers maiden name. I am not sure of info on this site as i use Ancestry. Happy to look for you,if you don't want to put name on here then click on my name and send me it in the message box |

The other thing i wanted to ask is are all births and deaths recorded on this site? between the years stated as i cant find my mothers birth in Nov 1936 and it appears the 3 months of births for that period is missing? |

I think that is more than likely his death, I am new to this searching and I dont really understand the relivance of the volumes is that just to enable me to get a death certificate and if i did this what further info would i gain? I know he definatly died in the first 6 months of 1960 but was buried in Warrington would this still mean that his death could of been registered in Birkenhead ? |

Thanks for the quick response Its a little more complicated than that Jan, My mother was born illigitimately William Mason being her biological father but Rose was married someone else and my mother was given the family name! |
