I was wondering if anyone can check the 1911 cencus for me. Im trying to find the name of a sibling for my nan. The family lived in west derby, Liverpool my nan was the eldest Winifred b. 1908, there was Thomas b1909, Edward 1911, Lilian1914, William 1916(twin), May 1916(twin) & Arthur 1920. We know there were 8 but cant remember the name or birth year. We think it may be 1910ish and BDM didnt show mothers maiden name then. Their parents were Thomas Naylor ad Ann (maiden name Rees). Hope someone can help. |

As Edward's birth was in 1911, there couldn't have been another one in that year |

Thats the right address & duh sorry forgot Edward. It must be later then. Theres 12 mnths between Lil & Twins both Jul quarter. Theres a bit of a gap between the twins and Arthur (Jul quarter 1916 - Jan quarter 1920). I looked through all the BDM lists but couldnt find a match (they were listing the mothers maiden name then, but they could have got it wrong!). Ill keep looking cause i know there were 8. I can remember my nan telling me! |

I wouldn't take as gospel that there were 8 children, families did get confused. Plus if one was stillborn or miscarried, it wouldn't be registered. |

It doesn't look as is Ann Winifred married again--this looks like her Death index ( although the year of birth is a year out --it should have been 1886) |
