I would defiantly get the marriage cert as that will give you Emma's & Frederick's Dads names which will help pick then up in the census

There is this birth for an Emma, but this will only be a big maybe as she might not come for the same area that she married

I think a bulk purchase of certificates is in order.
It's the best way to confirm parents, birthdate, birthplaces, occupations etc.

You need to apply quoting the reference numbers and years given in the suggestions above.

Jeff, the name mason is a bit tricky as it is so common. You will need the 1911 marriage cert for George and Annie to go back further I think.
