This afters, I spent about an hour looking for an 'Annie' death in Berkshire (Slough) and then tried to link the surname (and given name Fran* for the husband) with a marriage in Wales....no luck at all

Any other info on Annie....?

Annies birth certificate might give some kind of clue....it would be the first to buy me thinks

I think that Alice Rose Windsor is probably MR Goulds child who is on 1911 with her and mum Annie.
Hence her marrying as Gould.but reg under Windsor for her birth as per legalities of Annie being married to Charles,who seems to have absconded.

Another pointer to Alice being Mr Goulds is that her own son had the name Stanley?The same as her probable half brother on 1911 ?

Mr Gould maybe didnt want Annies other children,refused to maintain them?So they were put in Childrens homes.

Much the same deal with my own Grandmother,so I know it did happen.

Without the names of the 2 missing children Annie said she had on 1911 it will be difficult to find them.

Still does not help to find Annie who "married "Frank.

But maybe Alice Rose Windsors birth cert would be able to tell something.

And with the birth cert of Harriet"Annie" Windsor a death search for her can more easily be done,especially if she died after 1967 when dates of birth were included on death certs.(If they were known)

Hi, ok I am Kath . Alice Rose was my nan,born 1907, Annie was her older sister how old I don't know. Annie had a son George, who is younger than my nan George wasborn out of wedlock and because my nan was also pregant my great gran said that she was raising 1 child born out of wedlock that she could raise another. Annie married someone named Frank, they moved to slough and also had children one of who's name is Nancy. ; Has for dates that.s has much has I know thanks for your help

alice rose windsor born 20/03/1907. married under name rose a gould in 1926 to charles young in methyr tydfil. first son thomas s young april 1927. widowed sept 1952.married percy knight feburary 1954. also there is a nephew named george windsor born to sister. ann brought up has her brother. also a brother wally who was killed in the first world war. 1911 puts alice rose in newport with mother annie and lodger named john gould and family.wife now confusedhas annie has 5 living children not widowed just her and alice rose
