Member Since: April 2009 Posts: 17 Send Message	Trying to find info on Isabel(la) Black Corrie b 20/2/1818 Lawston Lochrutten, 8th born child of Richard b 1780 and Mary Afflec Caven. Isabel(la) m 12/2/1841 to William Carswell at Kirkovery Kirkgunzeon,they had 3 children Thomas b 13/12/1841 Mary b 10/7/1843 and William b 12/9/1845. She was widowed when William d 8/8/1845 they lived at Craigieside New Abbey Kirkcudbright , eldest son Thomas is recorded on the 1851 census living with his grandmother Mary in Irongray but I cannot find anything on Isabel(la) and her family after she was widowed. I only have information on her son William who married Mary Hodgson on the 2/2/1869 in Carlisle. Ian Carswell
