The marriage certificate for Joan & Trevor Richard Leighton RHYDDERCH has arrived so I'm adding it here for future reference.

Thanks again for helping me to find out more about Joan & her husband.

Joan married Trevor Richard Leighton RHYDDERCH on 27th August 1940 at the Register Office in Dunmow, Essex.

Joan EMERY, spinster aged 29, living at Brick Cottage, Hatfield Broad Oak, daughter of Hubert EMERY, a Baker married Trevor Richard Leighton RHYDDERCH, formerly the husband of Daisy RHYDDERCH formerly HOSKEN (widow) from whom he obtained a divorce, aged 48, a Retired Bank Clerk, living at Brick Cottage, Hatfield Broad Oak, son of Richard RHYDDERCH (deceased), an Inspector of Schools. The marriage was witnessed by William E.H. RHYDDERCH & Ethel L. RHYDDERCH.

The witnesses were Trevor Richard Leighton’s brother William Edmund Hodges RHYDDERCH & his wife Ethel Louise.
