Hi all I would say the Joan born in Sedgefield is right as I have heard mum say Joan Perks. You could be right that it is Alices' death notice as grandma once said one died young. As far as George marrying the two sisters it is possible as I know one sister of grandmas' Jane was married to James Adams and he had been married to her aunt. The 1911 census is probably right as the William Taylor could be my grandad as my grandma Emma Jackson married a William Taylor in December 1911 Thank you very much Barbara

Hi Catherine You have the right family with Whitfield as head. The more I think about it the more I think you are right that he married both and she possibly died in childbirth. My sister thought it was a girl who died young but Benjamin was fairly young when he died so we thought it must be him. Thank you so much and I will check it out with my sister Cheers barbara

Hi Doreen I have you on my tree and your husband. I did wonder if we had been in touch before as I deleted all my contacts a few months ago by mistake. Emma was my grandmother and I have all her siblings and their families now but I am told that 2 died as small children. Have you heard of anymore? Barbara [email protected]
