The 1880 birth in Maitland sounds more likely then.

Ada ovbiously grew up, married and died in Tamworth so she may have naturally thought that she was born there.

So Ada was:

Born 1880, Maitland, NSW
Married 1911, Tamworth, NSW to Joseph Dawson
Had a son Frank who died in 1923
Died 1929, Tamworth, NSW

The names of parents on marriage certificate are
William Moran and Mary Kelly with witnesses being
Frederick Moran and Louisa Dawson.

Groom's surname: Dawson
Grooms Given Name: Joseph
Bride's Last Name at time of marriage: Moran
Brides Given Name(s): Ada
District: Tamworth.

This makes her birthdate 1880, so maybe the Ada M Moran
born 1893 is of a different family. However, recall a
Louisa in family? (There is a witness Louisa on marriage certificate of Ada Moran and Joseph Dawson.) What do you think?

If William and Mary are not Ada's parents there are three possible alternatives you could look at the others I have ruled out as being a bit old to be marrying in 1911)

Certifcate: 17282/1880
Name: MORAN, ADA
Father: WILLIAM
Mother: MARY
District: MAITLAND

Certificate: 1156/1882
Name: MORAN, ADA S F
Father: MICHAEL
Mother: ANNIE
District: SYDNEY

Certificate: 14135/1886
Name: MORAN, ADA M F
Father: THOMAS J
Mother: ELIZABETH C
District: GOULBURN

You will need to order the death certifcate or marriage certificate of Ada to establish the correct year.
