and another bit of info!! There is also a Lucy Gunn in the household aged 85 who I suspect is the mother of Lucy Reason James wife.

Oh I do wish Familysearch was online at the moment.

That 1841 census reads Jas which is short for James and not Jno as transcribed!!!! and the family is living next door to a Robert Reason 21 and his wife and son William.

Family Search seems to be down at the moment.

There is a tree on Ancestry that gives his wife as Sarah Day - married at Stratford St Mary, Suffolk on 14 Feb 1845 and parents as Lucy and James Reason

Hi Susan & Flick the marriage info is correct, just looking for the parents etc for George & hopefully Sarah, I can't find her on any of the Census info

Can't see him in 1841 or 1851, so the cert is your best bet

A poossible marriage.
