Not without a DNA I suspect !

Seriously though, if there is no father on the cert you can't really PROVE who the father was.
You may be lucky if you check his christening............I've seen "father named as Joe Bloggs of timbucktoo" written in the records

My Grandfather Clifford Robinson claimed his parents were Sarah Robinson and Spencer Robinson yet when I checked his birth certificate it say's father unknown.
I have looked for Spencer Robinson and found he was born in 1871, Skipton and married Amelia Smith. Is there anyway I can check that Spencer was my gt grandfather
