looking for information on an Albert George White.Born 1879/1880
Married a Grace Eva Kemsley in 1912. At that time he was serving in the South Wales Borderers as a drummer and stationed in Chatham, Kent

Occupation stated at time of enlisting (1894) was Plasterer.

Father; Thomas Aldridge, 70 Dorothy Road, Clapham.

And looking through the records he became a DRUMMER!!!

His DOB was 29th Aug 1876

And on the 27th Sept 1912 he is stated as Married.

There is a Declaration in these notes that state he enlisted under the surname of Aldridge, however his surname is White.......... really interesting stuff, James you need to look at these on Ancestry.co.uk.

It also has the birth details of a male child born 4th June 1912 stating the mother is Grace Kemsley.

** An address of 84 langhedge (?) lane Upper Edmonton for 1917, also this address for his mother Esther. **

Also gives a date of death as 20th Nov 1915.

I've just re-read the pension records again and I think that these records belong to 2 different Albert Georges' I'm going to put ** next to the things that I don't beleive belong to your chap, so only 1 thing...........

Thanks Dee for all your efforts, absolutely brilliant results.

You have certainly turned up some interesting points.
I have details that match some of those sent, namely Thomas white age 30, Head. 26,Britannia place. Son Albert George White DoB 1879
Married Grace Kemsley 29/04/1912. I am needing a date/place of death for Albert george White ,plus any children of the marriage.
My efforts so far have hit a brick wall.
I will be looking at the suggested Ancestry site.
