I had a good day with the grandchildren yesterday !

Little grandson (6) was reading some books with his grandad and he came across the word 'bumptious' ..................

what does that mean he asked grandad................ 'I'm not quite sure - we had better ask Grannie "

Don't worry he said - I will 'google it'

Off he went to the computer and put in google:

"what dos bumptious (he got that one right as he copied it from the book) meen ?

Luckily google suggested the right spelling which he clicked on but then he had to call grandad in to read out and explain the answer which he had found ;-) :-D :-D

It's been a good day for JB!

Well.............rather than using tinned toms I am making a pasta sauce from fresh toms

What a pain in the @@@, peel toms first etc......

Weather has been odd today. Wet, dry, sunny..............

It has been a long day at work!

I am sure that will mean a lot to him Linds - How lovely !!!

This afternoon tea is very lovely too - just what I need to cheer me up on this nasty dark wet day and I have to go and get the grandchildren from school soon so I will get soaked :-(

Dea I have been promising myself that I would get the photos sorted for years.

We started with in-laws so they could tell us who everyone is. :-)

I sat last night and looked through 3 bags of my lot. These are ones that I have been given by relatives.

I still haven't looked at my parents lot yet.

Now the problem (albeit a good one) is that I need to get ALL the photos looked at together in order to organise them.

That is going to be a massive task and it will take a long time to sort through.

I found one of my godmother last night. She died giving birth to my cousin her first child.
You may remember that I searched for him and found him a couple of years ago?

He doesn't have a lot of photos of her so I will be sending it to him.

I have promised to share what I have when I sort them out but think he might like this one just now.

Got on the plane at 7.40pm (local time) temp 27c and got off at 10.15pm our time temp, freezeo!

Had a jumper in hand luggage but we parked only 2 minutes from departures so couldn't be bothered and walked to the car in t shirts.

Got home to milk and bread left by one of our neighbours, put the heater on then went to bed about 12.30am, got up at 7.00am!

Could just eat one of your lovely breakfasts Dea
