Hi All


am flying back to UK tomorrow night -- spending the night at Stansted Radisson - ( they have upgraded me to a suite as I had a slight dispute with them -- still not resolved ) will be at my house in Norfolk late Sat afternoon

Have sent back our personal effects, some special furniture pieces, the majority of my art and craft works and of course my oils --- so am happy to leave this house here

Cyns ----------- the tree layout is badly flawed ---- I hate it and I am one of the few in our group that have actually used it continuously for several years ---- they only drawback it had -- was the printing --- which is no difference

Not and end of an era Dea --- just a change of base


I will always have a house here in the village .. but it will be along the lines of a "" holiday home"" and I will travel back and forth as long as I am physically able

And at the end of my days -- will sleep the eternal sleep here in the village -----

I've had a quick look at my tree


the first time for months


I did notice that many names are shortened. I could see that being not very helpful in Tree Searches



I thought it seemed more cumberous than the old tree .................. but I don't use it, so I'm not that concerned.


I have far more on my private tree over on the site we are not allowed to mention :-D

you should have said HID could have picked you up from Stanstead and taken you to your new home.

First time I went to stanstead was about 1985 just to have a look around you could park right outside the terminal for 50p a day.

that very kind of you ---- my flight lands at 11.45pm and thought sisters said they would come down ( well actually they volunteered their OH)

but it is a good 2 to 2 and half hours drive to Norfolk and I rather sleep over and set of on the train in the morning

last time I slept at Malaga and caught the 06.30 am flight --- with the flight timings at the moment -- i have to sleep at one end

Gosh that was a long time ago ------must admit it has changed a huge amount
