My modesty Dea? What modesty????? ;-)

My daughter watches the Midwife and says it's really good. I've seen a bit but it's not really OH's cup of tea. I was surprised to think that all that was going on in my lifetime too.......feel like a dinosaur.... :-(

Sylvs......you've never been 'dozy, forgetful or sleepy' hahahahaha

Call the Midwife is the first of a tri-ology,read em all.....Shadows of the Workhouse was another title, but cant remember the other title...All true on fact as the writer was the midwife.
Mother says the order of it is all wrong on TV as she has read the book too,but I keep forgetting to watch it....
Have they done the Irish girl that had twins yet and the "Ships Woman"babys birth?

Must away to me bed,His Lordship has whacked me out today...Little Cherub...Not.!

Good morning all!

Thank you Sylvia - I have plenty of time to enjoy my breakfast today! ;-)

I will start with the mushroom quiche and bacon, followed by the chicken stir-fry and then I MUST have some of that lovely Chicken Karage. I will take a few extra pieces to nibble on through the morning, if that's O.K.??

Oh I do LOVE your breakfasts :-D :-D <3

Thanks for breakfast Sylvs :-D

Pers, are you on drugs or sumat? What are you sending me or not :-S

Im binning the scales, I think they just spew out what they want when they want. It shows JB lost 4lb this week

They were only cheap from B&Q so I might nip into the city and pick up some Seca's this week

Persephone Report 24 Jan 2012 07:53

Oops sorry Gins didn't get around to it... it is on the other puter... darn I have been busy all day...

Me on drugs... lol, well I do have my meds but I haven't doubled up or anything...

I do have crystal (glassware) and Meth (ylated spirits) but not Crystal Meth.

Thanks Sylvs... I will have some vege couscous with those very very cross blueberries..

Gin,

Sounds a bit like "Shoot the messenger" to me. ;-)

Dea

Dea Report 24 Jan 2012 07:57

OOhhh Ginny - you ARE funny !!! :-D :-D

I don't think new expensive scales will really help you to lose weight!

What you need is 'patience and persistance' ;-)

Gee

Gee Report 24 Jan 2012 08:02

Shut it Jonesey :-P

But they say different things at strange times. For example, when you get up, go to the loo and get weighed, you should weigh less than two hours later after several drinks and breakfast

But no.........

Jonesey

Jonesey Report 24 Jan 2012 08:09

For consistency your scales should always be in exactly the same position every time that you use them, preferably on a hard surface.

Gee

Gee Report 24 Jan 2012 08:38

Really Jonesey.....I wouldnt have guessed that!

Short of gluing them to the spot on the tiles, it has to be an educated guess as to where they go

Yesterday, I ate: Nothing all day until dinner at 6.30pm. 1 Quorn sausage 48cal, carrot and swede mash 240cal, broccoli and carrots 40cal

Drinks: 5 cups of assam, two bottles of water

Maybe I need to eat more
