Laines...

My only regret with my grandchildren is I don't see the youngest one nearly enough.. we are off to his 1st birthday soon. My daughter didn't think she would have any and then decided she would she was 36 when he was born..

My other daughter her eldest is 16 and she lived with us for her first year... it was great. We have a long weekend so they are at a churchy yahoo for three days.. it is called Parachute Festival and they have been holding it for a few years now.

Cyns... I have separate cartridges... all very professional... We used to have multi coloured one cartridge and it did give us a bit of bother from time to time.

Thank you Sylvs....you really do spoil us. I think I need a coffee before I tackle anything else. <3

Yes, it's OH's Kindle but he can't find any interesting books to read on it as yet. So, over to me. I fathomed out how to get on here from it but it is SO long-winded. I think the signal is a little bit low from the bedroom.

Also, I have to keep stopping to enlarge the font and, typing each letter takes longer than being able to touch type as I am doing now.

Anyway, it's fine for it's main purpose of reading and I have downloaded several free ones. All trial and error :-D

Oh yes, I've also found a site which alerts you to which books are being offered for free each day - rather like a daily offer type of thing... :-D

I trhink grandchildren are brilliant Laines:-D

I have a magnet on my 'fridge which reads... "If I had known grandchildren were so much fun, I'd have had them first!". :-D

Mine are just within a 20min drive from me which is just right although, sometimes, I wish we were a little closer. They have their own lives to lead and we are happy to be included as and when it's right.

Lovely coffee...........right....off I go......xx

Im still not convinced the scales are right Dea. If I get time today, I will go get some Seca's

Jonesey

Jonesey Report 28 Jan 2012 12:30

If I remember correctly Gin your reported weight loss was 2lbs during week 1 and 0.5lb during week 2. Now 5 days later your scales are indicating a total weight loss of 10lbs which if accurate means that you have lost 7.5lbs between Monday morning and Saturday morning.

Have you checked your extremities to make sure that nothing has dropped off? ;-)

Gee

Gee Report 28 Jan 2012 12:45

Yep, thats right Mr J

I didn’t believe the scales when I lost 2lb and .5lb as when I have lost weight before, I normally have about a 6lb loss in the first week

So that’s why I didn’t believe what they were registering, that said, I had to accept it so I sure as hell am going to accept the reading this morning!

Interestingly, JB has about the same weight loss to date and the scales said he had put 2lb on in his first week!

Need to go and buy some Seca’s, caus if Monday morning comes and I have put weight on, the scales will be exiting via the bathroom window
