Gee

Gee Report 29 Jan 2012 07:51

Cheeky mare :-P

I ate two slices of wholemeal toast with low fat flora, late morning

Dinner at about 8pm, small spag bol made with Quorn and no olive oil

Two small VaTs

Now if you chucked all that on the scales including the crockery, glass and cutlery, it wouldnt add up to about 6lb

for forks sake Gins... just eat plastic cutlery ... it is all the ironmongery that is weighing you down...

Actually if that is all you are eating you should be losing weight ... hand over fist..

A friend of mine always a slim person started gaining and she was eating less and less to try and control it... the doctor then gave her a diet... she was struggling to eat everything he told her to... and she gained even more... then he had the audacity to tell her she must've cheated. He sent her to the nurse who practically told the doctor he was an idiot... the tablets that he had put her on for blood pressure or something had caused her to pack on the kilos..

Now this is just a comment... no medical facts from me... you do understand that eh!!

JB has been on the scales too and had the same result as me. Yesterday he had a big weight loss and today, hes back up

Im not a big eater really, my portions are always child size....not enough to feed a bird as my bro says

It's oil, butter, cheese, nuts and crisps that are my downfall! That said, I have cut all of that stuff out

My jeans are very very lose and I do feel a lot slimmer but the scales agree one day and the next they change their mind

I dont take any meds so I cant blame that. I really do think these scales are duff............if it was just me, or I was cheating then OK fair enough, but JB is having the same results too :-S

I hope you've bought new scales Gins - then you will have a good idea as to whether you are up - down - sideways - wotever.

I ditched my bathroom scales yonks ago....... :-D

Had our new shower door fitted today.........the words 'arm' and 'leg' come into it. Looks very nice though.

Gee

Gee Report 29 Jan 2012 16:16

Dea

Dea Report 29 Jan 2012 16:19

Well done Ginns!

You must keep the new ones next to the old ones for a week or two, then you can weigh yourselves on both and decide which one you want to believe on an y given day !!! :-D ;-)

Is anyone having difficulty cutting and pasting onto this site??

For the past few days I haven't been able to paste onto certain threads on here using my mouse - I have had to do it using Ctrl V on the keyboard.

I can paste into other places but not onto certain threads on here???

Dea

Dea Report 29 Jan 2012 16:39

Have I confused you Ginns??? :-D

What I mean is that when I want to cut and paste - I go to the text and highlight it then I right click and a little box comes up and I click copy.

Then I go to where I want to paste it and then I right click and the little box comes up and I click paste!........... 'Job done' !!!

However, on certain threads, I go to where I want to paste and right click - NO little box so cannot paste !!!
