Renes...
It depends when he was in Canada.
Ancestry have 1911 and back.
Some 1916,but not Ontario area...

And on the death cert it says he was only in Canada for 7 years...So I dont think you wold find him on one there...
But I am willing to be proved wrong...Although I dont see him on any of them..

I agree with Dea

it is often possible to tweak the time of day that you take a drug to better suit you personally.

it's worth a try, ja...x

just shift the time of taking it by an hour or so.

To follow on Syls info here in Ontario relatively similar ... now that my wife and I are both old fogies (over 65) we only pay $100 about 62 pounds each for all drugs listed on the provincial plan. Before turning 65 I was spending $2,500 annually for my heart medications (1,600 pounds) As for annual costs of health care premiums individuals with incomes of $20,000 pay nothing (12,500 pounds), income of $200,000 has a premium of $900

Sorry to disagree but it is not the same time every day I fall asleep, sometimes its the afternoon sometimes early evening and othertimes it could be 9 or 10 o'clock at night just for an hour or two.

They have to be taken at the same time every day morning and night.

Renes, try this site.....it's the 1911 Canadian census. I have had a quick look but can't see him at the mo.....the name may, of course, have been mistranscribed!!

you're better off than we are!

Here, Pharmacare assesses your income, then decides how much of a deduction you have before they will start paying for prescriptions.

Our deduction is about $5,000 a year ........ so they never pay anything

actually, I think I prefer paying for my own ....................... several times I have gone to get a prescription filled early because we are going away, and the pharmacist has told me that I can't do it, because Pharmacare governs when you can re-fill

..................... once she even said "Pharmacare doesn't pay for you to go on holiday"!

Sounds very confusing Sylv.

We either pay £7.20 per prescription which I got one yesterday that will last 2 months.

Or pre payment card which HID has because he is on about 7 meds a day for heart and stuff thats about £10 a month

Or some people get it free

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 23 Feb 2011 22:22

We.......er..........more senior folk get our prescriptions free of charge. In fact, when OH was 65, I had a birthday cake made for him which looked like a prescription form........written across it in red icing was the word 'free'. Got a pic of it somewhere!

Ah well, beauty sleep calls. Night night all. Cx

Aneurin Bevan helped me sort out a puzzle on my family tree.

My great grandmother had a sister Alice
Minter.

I have memories of a great aunt Alice visiting from Canada.

But she was not old enough to be the sister.

other researchers found a marriage for her here then nothing.

I was brand new to this-my first day in fact and I found these messages on ancestry.

message found on Ancestry message board
"I am in receipt of some new information re my family, I am hoping that somewhat might have additional pieces to the puzzle, I am working with faded bits of paper. Mr grandfather was Wm. Frank Wells born Feb 22nd yera 1885-88??born in England Greenheth?? not sure of spelling he had 7 brothers& sissters. Percy who was a MP for labour party for Swale he died in 1964 his widow died at age 100 in Sithngbourne burined I think in Maidstone, her 1st name Florence had a daugher lastname Coleman. other names of family Lenord/Albert/Harris/Connie/Eva/May, have no record at all on their father or Mother.
My grandfather married Alice Mary Minter born Nov. 18,1882 Greewich died 1937 in Canada, she had several brothers & sisters Sally/Kate/Vi/Daisy/Sarah?Wal/Albert/Sidney. Great grandfather would be Francis Daniel Minter died Jauly 31st 1927 age 67, Great Grandmother Mary ane Minter died March 20/1944 age 81

If you have any information to this puzzle I would appreciate hearing from You
Thanks
Edward Wells"

Look forward to receiving information.
Ted Wells

Took quite a bit of working out as some of the names were way off
they were from greenhithe.
ethel william horace percy eva constance leonard and albert.

I was convinced this was right and took several years to prove.
To summarise
william went out to Canada to prepare the way for his fiance.
they were married in canada when she joined him and they had their first child out there.
then ww1 broke out and william joined up in canada and came back to greenwich with his pregnant wife.
they returned to canada after the war.
The brother of william wells was Percy Wells who was parliamentery private secretary to Aneurin Bevan.

oh and the other marriage of Alice Minter i attached to the right person too.

And I still have not found Ted Wells
