I am very out of practice Renes - I had to give up working over there when I got poorly almost 3 years ago !!

OH is painting the kitchen


he did the ceiling on Thursday, now he's having the first attempt at painting the wood panelling


we were too scared about what we might find behind it to take it off

................ one hidden doorway and 1 hidden slot for a fold-up ironing board was enough!


so we're trying painting the 2 panelled walls


......... errrrrrr, maybe I should correct that


he is trying paint, at my suggestion!

at the moment it's a base coat, then it will be ordinary wall paint (alkyd??).

Semi gloss on the walls around the cooker and sink areas, and on cupboard doors and drawer fronts.

Gloss on skirting boards.
