I think you are right Jax.

So do I Renes but to be perfectly honest, I'd have preferred they had a good time and blew the lot or gave it to charities in the area.

Am I the only bleach freak I ask myself.

Yesterday at work I decided to give the sink a scrub and a bleach and got told off and had a lesson on COSHH!

Needless to say I told em where to go and next time you are out get some more bleach caus Ive used the last!

The cleaner is not allowed to use bleach.....well someone has to ;)

Sheffield possibly a nursing home poss St Elizabeths? I think he was a labourer of some sort?

Funny you should mentioned bleach Gins. We had a discussion on here sometime ago re shower tiles etc. Now, every time I spray my tiles with a bleach solution......I think of you.....:))

Ja..x I dont think thats him. His death certi in 1919 gives this;

John Flanagan 66yrs
Died; St Elizabeths Home, Heeley Bank Road Sheffield
Occ; Formerly a Builders Labourer


Flanagan is spelt in so many ways I always search Flan* He may not have been in the home in 1911...?

Ive just done some 1901 digging and have a death cert for this old b#gger

John Flanagan death Union 1909 age 79yrs

The address on the cert is; 29 Spring St Sheffield


Ja..x could you check who is at that address in 1911 please

I searched for flan* actually and there was only one in yorkshire that was born in Ireland and he had a wife.

I looked at Heeley bank road and there are loads of addresses but I found one that has inmates does'nt say what sort of place it is full of Irish people but no Flanagan's
