don't know if you have this message already but just in case I will give you the information again. My great grandmother was Eunice Lee and her daughter Maggie was my Gran who married Willie Ellis from Trawden. I have researched the Ellis family and am now starting to look at his mother's side, the Lees. My mother knew most of the family and I remember Willie Lee vaguely. Eunice did marry again and I knew Doris and Mary really well. I don't know much more than this but would be interested in any information you may have.

Lily's mother was Eunice Birtwistle Horsfall she married John LEE he died c 1900 and she then re married in 1908 my Great Grandfather James Riley who was her 1st cousin 3 times removed. Birtwistle was her middle name [her mother's maiden name] James' father was also a Birtwistle.
Eunice's name has been mis -transcribed in every Census ie: Emma, Elluice. Enice

I find the place of Birth to be a problem quite often as my family born in the villages of Trawden and Winewall show up in records as part of the Parish of Christ Church, Colne or appears in freeBMD as Burnley.
Lily working as a servant would certainly seem the most likely.

If she married as Lilly Lee she is unlikely to have been married before.
Should point out that there are a few unmarried Lilly Lee's (and variants) on 1911, working as servants etc., and born in Lancashire, but none give a match for the birthplace, so impossible to know if one is yours,

Certainly a possibility .
Only marriage I know for definite is her marriage to James Grierson on 26/12/1914 in Leeds West Yorkshire.

Could some kind person possibly find Lilly Lee b,1889, Trawden, Lancashire in the 1911 census for me.please.
She did not marry until 1914 in Leeds, West Yorkshire so would still have been single and she is not with her mother who re-married and was living in Winewall with her new Husband.
So could possibly be in either Lancashire or Yorkshire.
