Thank you both for your help, very much appreciated.
I thought Caroline Hardy Chamberlain's mother was Louisa Georgina Hardy, but how do I prove that she was (or maybe that she wasn't) ?
After seeing the information on Carolines marriage banns it said the witnesses were Daniel (father) & Sarah Chamberlain. I thought Sarah could have been a sister, but I have now found a reference to a marriage of a Daniel Chamberlain and Sarah Field in 1795, so I am now wondering if the information I was given from someone elses tree about Louisa being Carolines mother is correct.
Any advice of where to go from here would be appreciated.

London, England, Marriages and Banns, 1754-1921
Name: Daniel Chamberlain, Bachelor Spouse Name: Sarah Field, Spinster Record Type: Marriage Event Date: 23 Nov 1795 Parish: St Marylebone County: Middlesex Borough: Westminster
Witnesses:- Benjamin Hardy and John Willock
John Willock is a witness at another marriage on the same page ...... so might be a so-called "professional witness", one who received a small amount of money to be a witness
But note the name of the other witnesss.

Thank you so much Sylvia for all the very helpful information.
I know what you are saying about information from other peoples trees, that is why I like to try and find evidence to support the names.
I am so pleased Benjamin Hardy has shown up as a witness at the marriage. I will now try to find where he fits in, if I can.
Thank you once again for all your help, it is very much appreciated.

so the first Susa. Hardy Chamberlain died
from ancestry
London, England, Non-conformist Registers, 1694-1921
Name: Susannah Hardy Chamberlain Birth Year: abt 1797 Age: 14/12 Church: Whitefield's Memorial Church Burough: Camden County: Middlesex Event Type: Burial Event Date: 9 Sep 1798
On the actual image it says St Mary-le-Bone, but i tisn't clear whether that is the district where they lived or the church.
?????? I wonder if this is the second Susannah Hardy Chamberlain
London, England, Non-conformist Registers, 1694-1921
Name: Susanh Chamberlin Birth Year: abt 1801 Age: 20/12 Church: Whitefield's Memorial Church Burough: Camden County: Middlesex Event Type: Burial Event Date: 14 Aug 1803
Again, it says St Mary-le-Bone on the image
I went to the first page of the record and it showed this:- No 2 The Register of Funerals in the Chapel and Burying Ground Tottenham Court Road

Thank you for the extra information.
I have looked on the national archives website and found documents are available with the names Daniel Chamberlain and James Hardy Chamberlain on them. The addresses on the census returns are also mentioned.
The only thing is I don't really understand them and wonder with James being a solicitor if his name is appearing for legal reasons and that they are not really going to help me get more family information.
What are your thoughts?
I typed in James+Hardy+Chamberlain to get the results.
