Find Ancestors

Looking for Septimus Saunders b 1861 Tadley Hants and his wife Margaret. Does it say how long they have been married as I cannot find the marriage.
The one on the marriage index JQ 1891 Basingstoke is not the one.
Your help would be much appreciated.

On the l89l census, he states he is married. The census was taken on 5th April.

In 1881 he is in prison in London - I wonder if this could be him - Probably not based in the 1891 census

On the 1881 census he was in Pentonville prison.
The one b1865 is not mine.
I do have him on the 1861/71/81/91 & 1901 census
I was hoping his wife was still alive, on the 1911 census,as you say he is shown married on the 1891 census, but I cannot find the marriage.

Not sure about it, I supose he could have stayed on in london after his release from Pentonville in 1885.
Must admit I cannot see on 1871/81/91 census any other Septimus it might be.
